| This unit allows a veterinary inspector to enter defect or disease codes against a carcass. These are transferred to the grading station where they are used by the grading software to allocate carcass grades. The station can be configured to "detain" carcasses manually or automatically, if the fault selected is one which requires a carcass to be detained.
