Integrator
|
|
Triton
Integrator collects individual carcass and carton data
from the weigh grade system, Boning Entry unit, the
boning room Weigh Label unit(s), and scan files from
the scanning system. It establishes relationships between
the data types to enable us to report on Chiller Stock,
Boning Room production, Boning Room yields and Electronic
Batch Submission of AGMs to N.Z. M.A.F.

Warehouse/Coolstore
Management
|
|
The
food storage and distribution industry has always had
to cope with shortcomings in product identification
processes, while also being the last link in the chain
to retail for consumer food safety and responsibilities.
Now with Aurora you can receive multi-plant, multi-product
deliveries with automated batch lot isolation and individual
item traceability. Aurora is a low cost breakthrough
giving advanced features and high performance results.

Carcass
Identification (Mob Management)
|
|
The
Knocking Box system is a PC based program which collects
live weights, breed, eartag number, operator, and mob
number. This information is forwarded to the Slaughter
Manager PC where the information can be included in
reports.
|
|
Veterinary
Inspection
|
|
This
unit allows a veterinary inspector to enter defect or
disease codes against a carcass. These are transferred
to the grading station where they are used by the grading
software to allocate carcass grades. The station can
be configured to "detain" carcasses manually or automatically,
if the fault selected is one which requires a carcass
to be detained.
|
|
Weigh
Grade Station
|
|
The
operator enters grading information, the carcass is
automatically weighed and a carcass ticket printed.
The grading information entered depends on the particular
version of the software. It could be as little as a
single keypress for the fat depth. Production records
are collected and transmitted to the office PC running
the grading software.
|
|
Weigh
Label Station
|
|
These
range from manual carton stations, to semi-automatic
cut carton stations, to fully automatic carton systems.
At a manual station, the operator identifies the product
for the cut or carton which is then weighed, and a label
printed. In a fully automatic system, the product in
the carton is identified by a fixed scanner that reads
a small product barcode attached to the carton by the
packer. The carton is weighed, checked, labelled, and
either rejected or diverted to the appropriate destination
for this product. In both systems the box by box production
information collected is sent to the office PC running
the Boning Room Manager.

Production
and Inventory Management
|
|
The
Boning Room Manager enables the supervisor to enter
product definitions, manage production orders, design
cut or carton labels, set up cutting specifications,
and communicate with the workstations. Carton data uploaded
from workstations can be edited and reported on. For
more sophisticated reporting, data is sent on to the
Triton Integrator for yield, profitability, production
batch and profit and loss reporting.

|
Inventory
Management
|
|
When
a carton is produced it is automatically assigned to
a default location called "Production". Triton barcode
scanning is used to identify cartons and change their
location. Typically this is used for tracking product
through the plant (Production to Blast to Storage to
Shipped etc.), selecting product for load out, or producing
stock reports. Batch identification and isolation can
be incorporated for full individual carton traceability.

MAF
Station
|
|
This
unit allows the inspector to enter defect or desease
codes against a carcass. These are passed to the grading
station where they are used by the grading software
when an Item Number is allocated. The station can be
configured to detain carcasses manually or automatically
if the fault selected is one requiring the carcass to
be detained.
|
|
Boning
Room Station
|
|
This
unit collects data on carcasses entering the boning
room so that it can be used in boning room yield calculations.
The data collected can be just a weight and time of
entry or if a scanner is attached the carcass tag can
be scanned to also collect the product code, hot weight,
killing plant and slaughter date. If both the hot an
cold weight are collected, chiller loss can be calculated.
